The Dilly Print Shop loves to offer print services for customized calendars. We love to see all of the new year calendars in December! There are so many unique designs for family calendars. Customers put amazing effort into designing calendars, and we are here for it all! Customers love printing customized calendars. They make for great family gifts during the holidays. They are incredibly useful and thoughtful!

Calendar Print Services

Peter has been utilizing our print services since 2018. He is a long time loyal customer. He prints his family calendars with us at the Dilly Print Shop. We love seeing his new calendar designs every year. This year he brought 2023 calendars for printing. Peter was looking forward to visiting us and sending out the new calendars. He always brings two calendar files, one for the American calendar and one for the Swiss calendar. His designs are so creative. He sends customized calendars to family and friends throughout the U.S. and Switzerland. We love working with Peter! We have grown to know Peter so well that we expect him to walk in our front doors every December to print his calendars.

Dilly Print Shop for the Holidays

The Dilly Print Shop loves the holidays. We love printing for holiday events, mailing out Christmas cards and creating templates for end of year announcements. We also love to print gift tag templates. The print shop offers many gift tag templates. Instead of handwriting names for presents, get them printed using our adorable printed templates. You can email us your gift labels and we will take care of the printing. Printed labels add a nice touch and unique display for your gift recipients. Dilly Print Shop for DMV Documents

The Dilly Print Shop sees many customers coming from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) down the street. The DMV requires numerous documents to obtain permits, registrations and licenses. We have many customers that need to print these documents prior to their appointment. We are the most conveniently located print shop in close proximity to the DMV. The registration process can be stressful, let us help you take one thing off your list of tasks!

Chanel’s Dilly Print Shop Experience

Chanel is one of those customers. She stopped by to print documents for her DMV appointment. She then came in a week later and we learned that the DMV did not accept her printed documents. The DMV can be very strict regarding which documents they’ll accept for proof of residency. Chanel then came back a few days later and we learned that she was turned down for a second time. We then became invested in helping Chanel succeed in taking her permit test. This third time, we helped her with printing more documents and logging into various websites to get utility bills. Thankfully, a few hours later, she passed her test! She stopped by to let us know and we were all so excited for her. She was incredibly grateful for all the extra work we did to help her, it’s like we were celebrating a long time friend! We love celebrating these joyful moments with our customers who mean so much to us, they’re like family.

Printing for Local Vendors

We love printing for local businesses. Our business clients are some of the most interesting clients we have met! We recently delivered some print services for Free Parking Studio, a vintage clothing store located in Salt at Kaka’ako. Salt is Honolulu’s epicenter for food, culture, entertainment and events. They host regular flea markets. The next flea market will be on October 14. You can find Free Parking Studio located in front of The Barn in Salt at Kaka’ako. The flea market will have over 20 vendors, including artisan food and sustainable vintage clothing stores. We love supporting local vendors and businesses. Flea markets are an easy way to see numerous vendors at once.  

Printing for Retailers

Our services for Free Parking Studio included a couple hundred fliers and posters to advertise the flea market event in October. We can also offer merchandise catalogues and printing for other business needs. We like working with businesses because we watch them grow from a perspective that most do not get to see. We know when businesses are expanding or launching new products or menus because we get to see the prints before others see them. We know when they are raising prices or running sales because we see the fliers before others see them. We also know when they are hosting more events because we see all the planning that goes into it! This is why we love working with business customers.

Print Shop Layout Services

Our print shop offers a variety of services, from general printing to layouts and design work. We are quick to reply via email and can offer clients a short turnaround time. Although we offer competitive pricing, we are unable to offer the same price breaks that other print shops could provide for very large orders. We recommend that customers check with other businesses that primarily operate as print shops. Our primary business is storage unit services, and because of that, we are not able to offer the same price break levels and discounts for very large print orders. The print shop is a secondary service to our storage unit services. However, we can still offer high quality print services to all customers. We just are not able to provide significant price breaks for those in demand of high volume print orders. The high volume print orders we have done for previous clients included printing for concerts, restaurant menus,

Dilly Print Shop Welcomes Jasmine

The Dilly Print Shop has recently brought on new members to its team. We love welcoming new employees to our ohana. They help us to service more customers and operate more efficiently overall! We love our team. They help to take care of our Dilly Print Shop customers and keep things running smoothly. Without them, we would be nothing. It would be impossible to provide the kind of print services that we do without all their hard work and attention. It requires an attention-oriented personality to produce high quality prints, layouts and design services. It takes us a while to find someone who is both reliable and talented. When we do find someone that checks all of the boxes for us, we keep them!

Jasmine for the Dilly Print Shop

Jasmine is our most recent new employee. She has become known as the Print Shop Master! We love working with Jasmine and are very excited to have her on the team. Jasmine is also a layout and graphic designer. We now have 2 designers that can help with the more complicated print jobs that require layout designs. These jobs are usually in high demand. Before Jasmine joined the team, we only had one graphic designer. It took us a while to get through the numerous customer requests for these layout services. Jasmine has been able to work through all of our graphic design jobs and help to service these customers.

Dilly Print Shop for Teachers

The Dilly Print Shop has been busy in preparing for the new school year. Printing services are a huge part of the education sector, as well as other industries. Teachers, administrators and school coordinators all heavily rely on printing for various educational tasks. With the new school year just around the corner, we have been working with teachers in preparing materials for their curriculum. We can handle a large capacity of specialized print jobs. Teachers are more than welcome to come print with us! We can offer fast turnaround times and itemized billing. We can also communicate over email or over the phone. Our email response times are fairly quick, ranging from 1 to 2 business days. 

Dilly Print Shop for Jane

Jane is a middle school teacher and we have been working with her in preparing for the new school year. As a middle school teacher, she has lots of items that need printing. This includes homeworks, tests, activities and other assignments. We are happy to be involved in her preparations. Educators are important members of our community. They are raising the new generation to be responsible, caring and educated adults!

Print Requests for RIMPAC 2022

The Dilly Print Shop has been busy servicing print requests from participants in the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2022 gathering. RIMPAC is a 4-day exercise that brings together military officials from Australia, Canada, Japan, New Zealand, Republic of Korea, Singapore and the United States to foster cooperative relationships to ensure the safety and security of the Indo-Pacific region. Given the high-profile and relatively large event, we have received numerous emails for print orders from out of town visitors. Visitors are looking to print last minute documents, business cards and other work-related items. We are used to printing for business-related events, so we were prepared!

Island Prints for Visitors

We love meeting new people and facilitating business in the islands. We have received remarks from several international visitors that prices are rising in their hometowns. Island pricing may be a shock to those who are not used to it. Although locals are accustomed to higher prices and heavier expenses, those who are from out of town are surprised when they see our “high” prices. It is funny hearing about our high prices from international visitors. Although we have raised our prices recently, we are still cheaper than most print shops here on the island.

Dilly Print Shop and the Taste of O’ahu

The Dilly Print Shop loves being part of local events. The Taste of O’ahu is one of these events. Aloha Stadium hosts this event on the first Friday of each month. This event is a night market that hosts local entertainment, crafters and food vendors. They even have free COVID vaccines on site! Tickets are available for purchase online or at the door. Presale tickets are $10 for ages 12+. Tickets at the door are $15 for ages 12+. This event is advertised as a family friendly event, so you can bring your keiki and the rest of your ohana to join in on the fun! We love family friendly events because it makes it much easier for everyone to get out of the house for the night!

Heather and Brianna found the Dilly Print Shop and wanted us to be part of this event. We are so excited to do some of the printing services for the Taste of O’ahu! It’s a great way to support local vendors and entertainment. We are so happy they found us and that we can be part of this wonderful event.

Dilly Print Shop Customer Service Quality

The Dilly Print Shop recently raised its prices. We had to do this to stay in operation given the rising costs of inputs such as printer ink and paper. Given the strain of the pandemic on local businesses in the last two years, we had to make the decision to increase prices. Although our printing rates are still competitive, they are higher now than they were in previous years. We still offer good pricing compared to large corporate competitors. 

Dilly Print Shop Customer Feedback on Prices

We reached out to some of our long time returning customers and notified them of the price changes before actually introducing the price changes. We appreciate the feedback from them. They let us know that although we increased prices, the rates are still good and the excellent customer service that we provide makes up for it! We were happy to hear this. We strive to provide the best customer service and nothing less. Although prices have increased, the Dilly Print Shop will not reduce the quality of our services or the quality of our customer service. Our customers are our top priority. We aim to keep all of our print shop customers happy with our products!
